Now Who's Turn Is It?

Wow, I am certain that many will eat this one up. If only we paid this much attention to God... hmmm, and yes church I am preaching at self on that note!

Ladies from both camps will rush to see that naked young buck Levi Johnston in Playgirl! The old men in the GOP will curse him, and the young and old in the opposing party will envy him.

I watched the interview on CBS this morning, and it was worse that listening about a bickering couple in high school. The CBS interviewer asked Levi why he was doing this now. "Now it's my turn," said Levi Johnston. He said he could say some things to really hurt her (Palin) but he wouldn't go that far. He said that the Palin's argued in front of the children, and that Sarah Palin called her son with Down Syndrome, her retarded baby. That she would come home and say where is my retarded baby? However, when the reporter pushed him to say more, and asked Johnston if the things "he could say" were while Mrs. Palin was in office and if it was a matter of illegalities, or moral issues, he would only say that yes it was while she was in office, but that he would not say anything else. Wow! Levi, how much are they paying you for the interviews man! Hard to believe? When it comes to greedy young men and politicians I would pert nigh believe anything! As for which side he shows in Playgirl, I think it's evident that he is showing mainly his backside everywhere else. After the interview, I can say at least there will be a payday, but is the paycheck worth the price that will be paid out? Well public eye the imperfect Christian says this:

Everyone has glass houses, and the world just ran out of plexi, so put ya rocks down now... or not! Throw it but am low so the elements have a place to escape. That way you may stand a chance at having your house stay upright for a few minutes, but when it crashes the shards cut deep!

Until the next scandal which should surface just any second, I wish you... Peace, Blessings, and Joy! That real PB&J!

Wait Til You See Me Next Time

I have known great pain but can't imagine yours,

Ignoring the brevity of life is an even greater chore.

However, there are some that have never encountered love,

Some so deep below, they've never seen above.

They know nothing at all about pain, nor hurt, nor tender moments lost,

The unloved don't understand the miffed or the severity of its cost.

So deep in their tender love it's as if it were enchanted.

Pressure here in this body, this heart, this soul, the road may seem a bit canted.

Memories of the temporal frame transfer to the eternal and whole.

Memories of a love that's missed, seems to take a toll.

Loneliness cannot express or touch what you feel today,

Love is not a word, it is an action that will never fade away.

Difficult to miss someone, impossible not to cry,

No words to cover up the pain in having to say goodbye.

Well goodbye to some is everlasting, and an agony with no compare,

To others it is God be with you, I will miss you until I get there.

So, please know this my friend you are thought of with every tick and tock.

The pain is only temporal, and the next phase is the eternal epoch.

Sing A Song

You know it's not the same when some key ingredients are missing. You have songs throughout the house, the little one buzzes through and sings in her melodic little voice, an older one sings to an audience of One in his room, and the other sings aqua pella into the shower head.

If you take one of those away it's just not the same. So in honor of my favorite little singers, and one of my favorite bands of all time:

"When you feel down and out, Sing a song, it'll make your day... Here's a time to shout, Sing a song, it'll make a way..." Sing a Song, Sing a Soooooong!

The joy of being carefree!

No, it really did happen that way!

Had a good day at work, and was on my way home, when I noticed traffic backed up. The south bound lane had a man with a cigar the size of a tee ball bat walking his grocery cart like his dog in the middle of the slow lane! Dude had on an Elmer Fudd hat, and a ganja man smoke, and just strutin' down the busiest road in the city at rush hour! Couldn't get my Storm out quick enough to take the pick, but today I am ready for whatever!

OK later that Monday evening I am on my way to my son's soccer game, my little girl is quoting Chappelle that she heard from her imperfect daddy! "Look no further fella, you found him!" she said proudly as I said hey where is so in so? Well upon safe arrival and not crashing the car from laughing at baby girl I three other groups of parents. One set left with a few of the JV players after the JV game was over. The Varsity game kicked in, and the opposing coach got too fired up! They introduced our squad, and the opposing coach came over and gave each of our guys a fist bump! He is the same coach that had his players stay in the rain and help our kids repair a sloppy field by filling in the divots last year, at our stadium. This coach is a class act! Well they kicked in some AC/DC Thunder Struck on the PA! The kids started bouncing and got pumped up, and the announcer belted out the players names! They all ran out with enthusiam toward their coach and gave him solid high fives, or a mean chest bump, or they gave him a fist bump or something. Then they shook hands with the ref. The Keeper rose from one knee, did a quick Hail Mary, made his Cross against his chest, pounded it like he was going into an MMA fight, and then raced out to his coach being the last player, and a gave him a thunderous up top ten!
It was a late night and a cold one. The game saw us get thumped pretty soundly, but the effort was a solid one. It almost hurts to write about how good the other guys are, so I will skip that part... : )
I got home, and saw that at least my Dodgers had faired well. Sweep the Cards, and on to the winner of the Phils and Rockies!
Well there you have it sports fans, the lightest sports blog I could muster!

What The Days Bring...

There are good days, and some that are better than others. One day a child is born, the next sees a child die. One day your career is soaring to new heights, the next finds you looking for work. For one group they rejoice in their candidate winning, the other panics and looks for ways to rebel.

I look at this picture of a young Michael Jackson, and I hear him singing songs like, Kansas City, Kansas City here I come! and ABC, and I'll Be There. He like all of us had good days, great days, and then again he had some that were better than others. What was behind the mask? Was there a piece of the little Michael left? How about you, is there a mask now, and if so is there a little part of the innocent child that knew no hate? Is there a part of you that is like that child that knew how to love and have fun?

God says, "You and I were meant to be..." satan says, "don't hear the part about, 'I'll be there..." satan doesn't want you to hear that part on his behalf or on GODS.'
Sports, politics, even road rage, can make you overlook the finer thing in life. Love... Some people do not know love. Some have been to blind to see it, and others to stuborn to accept it.
John 15:13 (AMP)
"No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends."
