In the last blog, the imperfect Christian covered the cliche`: If the shoe fits, wear it. The imperfect one encouraged a change also. Wear it and the stench that goes with it, or wear it until it hurts your toes badly enough to hurt and effect your heart. If the conviction hits its target, then the heart will encourage that change. Even satan was transformed, right? But how so? He was one of the Kingdoms brightest angels, was transformed from the angel of light, lead of musick, went through a dark transformation, and became the father of lies and the angel of darkness! Pastor Baker would say about change in baptism, "He went in a dry devil, and came out a wet one!" So what transformation is taking place in your life? A you still crawling caterpillar? Don't get the imperfect one wrong, a caterpillar is at least inching his/her way to bigger and better things, but don't you want to soar to new heights, and fly above and beyond? The imperfect Christian does! The Transformer is Christ... the butterfly is me!!!
for the record, this is not an Obama add, but how much do you want to bet that some are only going to see the sign as a campaign poster, and not a blog concerning spiritual change. Again, the sign (picture) is not the message, the change of heart is what the change is about. The imperfect Christian is not a prophet, but is willing to put the imperfect neck on the line and say that at least 1 out of every 3 people that see the pic will comment on the pic, and not the blog, or the impact of the change that Christ represents in their own lives. Any takers on a friendly I told you so wager? ;)
