Are You Singing The Blues?

The imperfect Christian at times finds himself with his family driving home late up the mountain that leads to home. At times that drive occurs on a Sunday night, and it makes him think about the times that he used to drive down the mountain to work each Sunday night. Ah to be blessed with memory and mental health to reminisce! That mountain gets at a lot of people, but the imperfect Christian used to love to drive it, especially on his motorcycle. The imperfect Christian remembers hustling in the fog, driving way too fast, or trying to make it down the mountain with snow on the roads. However, the imperfect one remembers the cool summer nights most of all. It was on those cool summer nights, that he wished that he and his motorcycle were going anywhere expect for the den of iniquity (factory) where he was working at the time.

The imperfect Christian misses a lot of the people at that old factory, and he misses the fact that physically he was helping save lives each day. Now he is grateful, and blessed to have a career not just a factory job (and yes there is a tremendous difference!), that helps to save spiritual lives daily.

So to each of you that have ever worked a night shift, have been confined to a production line, to a sterilization crew, or done any kind of house keeping/cleaning, and had to plead your case like you were on a murder trial just to go to the bathroom, this blog is for you. There is life outside of the box, and the imperfect Christian is living proof of it. Also remember this... stress leads to heart disease, and other things so, live, and live good! Don't settle for second best, or a just a paycheck, go get the joy in life!!! Let Christ lead you there! Forgive others as He has forgiven you, forgive yourself, and look for the joy in your new dawn!!! See y'all in the morning.

"For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life, weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5 NKJV)

Peace, Blessings, & Joy... that real PB&J
